    Default City Growth Rates

Can't find this anywhere Lusted, but I find my cities growing to fast between large and huge, like I can only build one or two buildings and then it's time for upgrade again, I run highest tax rate and a high dread general as well and keep the growth at 0.5 or 1%

The file landstoconquer/data/descr_settlement_mechanics.xml (end of that file) contains the thresholds for upgrading between level. You can try increasing the 'upgrade' and 'min' values for each one.

The current ones from Lusted do not look too bad, so I am not sure why it takes you only a few tuns to move from one to another.

Thanks mate, I'll give it a try. I'm not sure either, I don't even have land clearance, maybe it's just because it's Milan, Genoa, Bologna, Florence and Venice that they grow so fast???

The Italian cities have some of the highest growth rates in the game so yes, that could be it.
