Default A mod Collection or Colab

Well the thing is, i've been tryin to find mods that will not only make gameplay better but still stay fun it turns out that there are dosens indvidual mods and i dont feel like goin through every single one constantly downloading each individual mod. So then it hit me y not make a collection mods that dosen't spoil gameplay or mess with historical fact, I would like to see a bunch of mods become 1 a Mod Collection in a single Winrar file, all compatible with eachother and with the game itself.

Now i dontt know how to do such a thing but i'm pretty sure someone else does and im pretty sure that this thread has been made before and that this idea is not new.

in that case i would like to see a link of sucha collection if not i would like to a see a team being formed to create such a collection.

But this is only a request and i cant do things on my own. So plz if u have time make a team, make a plan, and make a collection.

    thnks

    welcome to the forums.

the real problem with what you want is the way things are implemented in the game. time consuming is an understatement and then there's the testing aspect to make sure it runs correctly and of course the double checking and triple checking. many mods add new factions, some from scratch and others using the normans or saxons or another faction they've removed from the original list. then there are the different maps different mods use. Some mods add units meaning different skins, upgrades, and such. All in all, it's a hell of a lot of work, extremely time consuming, and most modders are already committed to other mod projects. Also many mods have different aims so that's why there are so many different ones.

Mods will never be compatible to each other and most modders primarily mod for their own enjoyment, so they'll obviously do what they want to see in the game.

A collection of mods would simply be another mod taking other mods apart and using the parts the creator of the new mod likes, so the situation wouldn't improve much (if you think that it'd actually be an improvement to have only one mod).

No thing is everything. Every thing is nothing.
