I read atq the last page of TWC that this the last version.

Tell me thats not true.whyt you guys want to quit such a great mod with this much fan.
many modders changed from RTW engine to MIIW engine but that isnt aa good Idea cause there isnt much difference between them except that RTW has better atmosphere

For several reasons.

One, the mod is practically perfected as is. There isn't much you could do to make it better at this point.

Also, Lt is working on something else.

And also, it's not fun to have to keep restarting the campaign every time a new version comes out.

Do I need Spqr 6.2 before I download 6.4? Or do I just need 6.4 to get the mod to work?

If you don't have 6.2, then download the 6.4 full install.

Or...

Download the 6.4 patch if you already have 6.2 installed.

You don't need 6.2 for 6.4 to work. Just download and install 6.4 Complete, NOT the 6.4 patch.

You just need 6.4 Full download for it to work. Read the info in th download thread it explains ALL. Everything is Explained if you read it. The Patch version is for 6.2 owners so they dont have to install the full 201mb, for new people you need the 201mb. It just common sense when you read the download thread. :-)

As for whats next for me, well a Finished Campaign would be nice, now that there will not be anymore patches etc I can do so without worry. I still have to see if I can get that greek Egyptian pack done, I'm sure I have the files I just need to find the skin pack. They need sprites and such as well as UI card I believe. so thats a pain. Then I may have a script download that adds more to the script players.

Then there is a Idea of whether or not to make Mods for BI based on the Late Roman Empire or Buy MTW2 on Discount sale for $5 or something and make a Medieval SPQR for it.

i think that either of those would be an excellent idea. I keep coming back to RTW from MTWII.
I used to play SPQR in version 6.1 / 6.2 but then went over to RS, now this is the final version i think that ill have to install it onto one of my vanilla installs.
(i currently have 3... one vanilla, one for RS and one for Invasio Barvarrium)

Take some time and play a real campaign of SPQR 6.4 first though. Modding is a horrible thing isn't it... you spend all this time working on your mod, and then when its done, you don't even take enough time to play it, because you think of more things you could mod... at least thats how it is with me.

I don't think this will be the last version of SQPR. Inevitable some will come later. Maybe when MTW2 is over they will make an RTW2 ansd that will be remarkable.
