Senate Slot free what to do?

Hello people,

I need to turn the Senate into an other Faction

I can choose between 3things:

1.Make it to the Rebels
2.Use them as the only Roman Faction in game
3.Turn it to a Barbarian Faction

Which is the best?

Use them as the only Roman faction in the game. Its the easiest and I think the best

Unify Rome Under the Senate and you will have 3 more free slots for other factions, just don't click the senate tab or else:

Because I assume he internally renamed the Senate, there will be no senate tab, hence no CTD, so no worries there.

Using the (former) Senate as an only Roman Faction is a good idea.

Yes you can play them and yes it will CTD. If you try and play as the senate as it is in the vanilla game you will have issues playing including CTDs; however, you can use the senate faction slot for a playable faction, to do so you will have to rename the senate internally in every single location that you find it, folder names included. If you do this then the slot can be used for a playable faction slot, but you will lose some functionality by doing so.
