Well, I'm looking to get a new mouse and wanted to know what everyone's opinions on this: http://www.razerzone.com/index.php?m...products_id=43 were. Worth the money? I'd hopefully like to hear from someone who actually own(s/ed) one.

I use a Logitech MX 510. I read that the buttons on the diamondback take some time to get used to. Read this review...
Would recommend the G5, or, if you're not so much into gaming, the older MX500/510s. I use the former and would recommend it, along with logitech products in general![]()

What do you intend to use it for? I really love my MX revolution, but back in quakeworld days, I would probably have cursed it (used non-optical mice for fast-gaming anyway - wingman gaming mouse (best FPS mouse ever) and the razer boomslang...

If hes looking at Razers its a safe bet he looking for a gaming mouse.
Razers are nice but overpriced. Plus the overall shape can take a bit of getting used to. The DeathAdder is rated 1800dpi, while the top of the line they make, the copperhead is rated at 2000dpi, its also $60-70.
I like the Logitech G5 rated at 2000dpi, and it can often be found in the $30 range with a little searching. Actually Amazon has it through TigerDirect for $36.
I just can spend $70 on a mouse, so I like the G5
Heres a head to head review of the copperhead and the G5:

How much money do you want to spend? I'd also recommend the G5. If you are a serious player (especially if you play MP games) then do NOT get a wireless mouse. (No need for me to tell you why not)
Yeah the G7 is nice, but Ive never been a fan of wireless anyhow, and like you say, its $70.
IMO $70 isn't that much for a good mouse.
The quality of your mouse has a huge impact on your computer experience.
I rather spend some extra on a mouse and save some on the CPU, RAM, HD, etc.
I think the Logitech G7 and G5 are the best mice available today.
But I've heard good things about Razor mice too.
The latest generation from Microsoft is also acceptable.
You could also try Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0. it's a great mouse and it's only for 40 bucks.
I'd rather not spend too much, which is why I wanted too see everyones opinions on Razers.
I use a Logitech MX518

I have to remind people, there is a big difference between a laser mouse and an optical mouse.
If you don't know what, google it. Optical mice are something I never liked, because I use a black mousepad which has a wrist-rest gel, but I could only get it in plain black color and my optical mouse was extremely innacurate and tiresome to use on it. The laser mouse has no problem on it whatsever. I keep buying the same mousepad over and over again and I refuse to get those flat things with no gel-pad on them.
I have that exact setup but with the MX revolution instead. I can't stand using a mouse without a wrist gel pad, it makes my wrist ache. It's also been said that if you use a lighter colored pad your batteries will last a bit longer. Never tested it so can't confirm that though.
