Man Scorsese rocks, one of my favorite filmmakers.
Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, and The Last Temptation of Christ are just a couple. Besides the obvious ones like Casino & Goodfellas.

I didn't really like Taxi Driver that much. It was a "meh" movie to me

Gangs of New York- very good movie and certainly worth seeing.
I believe Scorsese was nominated for best director, but of course he didn't won one until the departed, which is pretty hard to fathom.

pretty much all have been named here...the departed and taxi driver are my personal favs.
