Having a problem with getting crowns

Hello, great mod by the way got me hooked again, early in my Lege Lombardo campaign, I destroyed Venice I finished my turn in Capitol and got the crown NP, destroyed Sicily did the same did not work, and know when I get a new King I put him Venice and know I. Cant get that crown either?
Two questions please, dose it matter if the King is from royal bloodline or a regent? Or is it a bug with Sicily, I have not tried with others capital because it takes so long to get Faction leader there since lately they have had slow movement because of low authority I guess.

I don't know why, but I've had the problem as well in 3.1 - worked fine with previous versions though - maybe it has something to do with Frankfurt briefly losing the satus as acapital because it was captured once - I reconquered and remade it my capital (nowhere near a kings death event), but I don't get crowns there.

I have been having trouble obtaining crowns after conquering other factions capitals. As Byzantine, I couldn't get the Turk crown. As Spanish, I couldn't get the Moorish crown and as French I couldn't get the Milanese crown. I was able to get the English crown as the Flemish king though. I thought at first it was because the king of the respective faction was still in possession of the crown, but after they were all wiped out still no dice. It sure would be nice to get those extra authority points with my weak kings.

try making a dif city ur capital. that might help.

changing the capital having effect on getting crowns and traits is only possible with my ChangeCapital submod, however you won't be able to get crowns of other nations anymore, but since this seems to be bugged in dlv, that isn't a big problem i think.
