    Default Army composition

I want to know what will be a proper composition of a persian army?

Sometimes I build entire armies of persian immortals and out my faction leader in there and make it his royal army. But when i'm not using them want a proper persian army.

    So any advice will help.
    Thanks

When you say "proper" do you mean historical or best for RTW?

    Historical

Persian had large numbers of sparabara that guard the archers. With cavalry on the flanks to surround the enemy. Immortals were usually surrounding the King and only used in extraordinary circumstances.

    Best

Personally I fight very defensively using the archers to kill off most of the enemy as possible before they reach my battle line. Then I use sparabara to engage the infantry in the huge melee. The Immortals I use for archery mostly and in times of crisis to strengthen the battle line. Although I use a lot of cavalry (asabari) for mobilty and firepower and use them for massed flanking charges.

I´m playing as Mada and uses actually mostly Sparabara and Takabara.
    4-6 Units Sparabara
    2-4 Units takabra
    4 Units Thanvabara
    2-4 Units Asabari
    General.
My armies look around (ca) that.
