A test! I will give a rep point to whoever can tell me why the picture seems to vibrate on its own.
Because of the drawn perspective to the center with the lines you get the sense of depth. With the sharp contrasts and mixture of smooth contrasts you generate the feeling of motion. Since the lines do not fully extend to the center ( or rather they do but are less in quantity or less noticeable) you get the sense of the pulling away from you at a fast pace due to the lines sharpness.

This is quite fascinating.
FIRST: Concentrate on the four dots in middle of the picture at right for about 30 seconds!
NEXT:
Close your eyes and tilt your head back.
WITH YOUR EYES STILL CLOSED:
You will see a circle of light in your mind, and a picture will appear in the circle. For a few moments, with your head still tilted towards the ceiling, you will even be able to see it floating in the air when you open your eyes.

I think it's called the Fraser Spiral and it's acutally a whole bunch of circles and not a spiral.

good test of focus with some of them, as if you can firmly hold your focus squarely at one point the spirals don’t move.
i read recently that the eyes actually see in 2D the brain then creates a 3D world from that image, most illusions rely on the distortions involved in apparent 3D objects [i.e. that are actually 2d], and/or focus - defocussing away from the epicentre of that focus. also on size location divisiblity as with the vibrating images.

BTW, usually if you right-click an image you can select "copy image location" from the menu... if the system you are using allows that. It copies the html and you can paste it into the website address bar or whatever.
