    Default campaign ai is crap

Hi the AI ist the same unrealistic crap like in the original game... everyone with a border to you attacks you. If the border is gone peace is available. The best situation in the mod was as i gave a city to milan to avoid the border with france and i moved my troops out of the city. and this isolated milan town in northern europe attacks my escaping army next turn only because its now has a border with me.

Is this mod designed to play it at normal campaign difficulty ? I played at hard because i want that my enemies have more money. But this Border=War Crap makes me sick... I played Stainless Steel where it seems to be much more realistic.

Yeh vannila AI is too aggressive and forces you to conquer the world or be destroyed which to me is no fun, i like to have similar strengths to my enemies which make the game more fun and dont like it when im a huge empire and can destroy anyone at my will

It doesnt matter to much to me because i just play mods, might become a problem when M2: kingdoms is released tho

Yes this mod uses the vanilla campaign ai, i use it instead of the UAI mod because i find the UAI mod too peaceful. Some people don't like lots of wars, but i do, i don't care if its realistic or not. And on hard and very hard difficulty your relations with the ai will degrade automatically if you do not do something to make them happy, and as always if you use lots of spies/assassins/sack/exterminate/kill prisoners would reputation will go down lots.

    Hi Lusted,

this is your mod, and it's up to you what you like and what not, but it seems to me, that you don't have tried the latest versions of my mod, where the AI acts a lot more aggressive than in previous M2TW 1.1 versions.

I also want to point out, that AI factions attacking a far superior opponent for no reason and without the slightest chance even to conquer one settlement IMO do not add to the challenge nor the atmosphere.

Flip side is play a faction that everyone attacked frequently, and it is pretty accurate.

Byzantinium for example. Read the Alexid sometime.

The latest version of UAI is much better I run it with LTC and its not peaceful at all. I love the way diplomacy works and you dont get attacked for now reasons all the time. GrandWiz posted the files and I also added the money script to campaing AI I suggest you try it..

If you got some modding skill get Garniers changes in + Darthmods Battle AI then you get a kick ass game. Thats how I run it now. its a completly new game.
