SS 2.2 bug file

Unfortunately, my computer has trouble installing patch 1.2 so I think i might give 2.2 a go. When I went to the went to:

It gave me all the info but the link for this part:

IMPORTANT BUG FIX:
There is a problem with Stainless Steel 2.2 when you want to enter a battle with crusader units, the game will crash.
To fix this:
1. Download the following file:
http://files.filefront.com/unit_mode.../fileinfo.html
2. Extract this file into your ".../Medieval II Total War/data/unit_models" folder and overwrite existing files

On 1.2, what happens when you try to install it? Did you try installing the patch from a clean install of M2TW?
