    I just wanted to know when we might expect version 1.9 RTRPE, and has the 66-67 BC bug going to be fixed.

    Last time I talked to Marcus was today. He was updating the last files so I presume the release should be anytime soon. We did some last minute corrections to the map that needed to be implemented.

    As for the 66 BC CTD. I only know of what Marcus said, namely that your saved game didn`t crash with RTRPE v1.9. I haven`t tried it myself yet.

    Can I ask, are RTR 7 and RTR PE being developed entirely separately? I.e., is PE just a road that branches off the main RTR highway at junction 6 (if you follow), whereas it keeps going straight on to 7?

    They are developed separately. There was no direct support from the main RTR team(though some RTR devs did help with advices/know-how in the early stages of the port afaik). Right until now RTRPE was still an "unofficial" port of RTR 6 Gold to RTW v1.5. There was talk to recognize it officially, but every time this was discussed there were a couple very against it people that contributed at this not happening. I`ve heard the next version will be supported officially by the main RTR team, but let`s wait and see it happening.
    As for evolution, a good part of the people who have developed RTRPE have joined RTR 7 team last year and RTRPE was initially used as the first base for RTR7, though by now it should be very different.

    When the bug of 66-67 will be fixed, could you say why was happening?
    I´m playing RTR 1.8, I have huge modifications and I would like fixed this problem when this will be found. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.

    I only know that Marcus said he tried FM`s saved game in RTRPE v1.8 and it crashed and then he tried it in v1.9 and it went ok with no crash. I have not tried this personally so I can`t tell you more. We`ll have to wait and see.

    As Florin mentions, FM's savegame did not crash while loading and playing it with the RTRPE v1.9 build, but I did note some campaign map glitches due to the campaign map changes in the v1.9 release. I have not been able to get any CTD's at 67/66BC with AI testing of the campaign (i.e. the AI playing all factions). Rather than hold up the release of v1.9 to play through 213 years to get to the point that the CTD has previously occurred, I'm going ahead with releasing RTRPE v1.9 now.

    If it turns out that some people still have CTD problems, we will look at solving this problem, releasing a small update to v1.9 that will take care of the issue. I will be continuing to support RTRPE if problems occur.
