Um, no mention of the war waged by Buddha (assuming you meant THE Buddha, Sakyamuni aka. Sidharta Gautama). India's kingdoms were fighting each other back then, true, but I don't see any particular war that gave rise to the Buddha.

Well. Or you could try Blue Lotus Total War. That`s about right what all of you are asking for - and its best quality, since Master Hoggy himself (!) made all the 3D graphics.

I actually think this has some real potential, although I'm rushed off my feet at the moment. Tibetian, Nepalese, Indian, Chines and Bhutanese factions, with possibly a few cool mythical units?

So it's like making a Christ: Total War with the factions being Catholics, Protestants, Greek Orthodox, Jehovah's Witness, Southern Baptist and Church of Latter Day Saints with flying baby Jesus shooting laser from his eyes?

Maybe add in Church of Scientology for flavor. Xenu can be a 50 foot city eating elder god look-a-like.
