This mod for RTW plans to focus on the egyptians before the romans starting in 3000 BC control factions like the hittites, the babylonians and many others but most of all lead your armies to victory using diplomatic and military means.
There will be 10 playable factions (TBC)

just an idea, Syria :total war or Hittite total war

i was reading up on a lot of Hittite and Egyptian history and i believe a mod based on the time period of ramses II or when the Hittite kingdom started would be an amazing mod

I read your proposal in the totalwar.org and i think that the time period of the rise of the Hittites in around 1650BC would work better because their would be a faction actually in syria.
