Nice Mod!

I have to say that this is one of the Mods that are worth playing!
I am currently playing as Turkey and wiping out Rebels and Armenia,then ill take on the Byzantines.i am Stopped from fast expansion by my Computer -
It is often freezing, forcing me to restart.If i had a better PC i would conquer great lands and maybe make an AAR

anyways,good mod, but i have a few questions:

1:If i start a Campaign,that Script advice pops up.I activate it by clicking on that womans face and its gone.
If i save now,and load after, does the script still run ? because the woman doesnt pop up anymore so i think its activated.
(Anyway,what does the script give me?)

2:I would really love to play on the Turkish empires Peak: the ottoman empire from 1200 to 1700.
Ive heard you are making Middle-and Late versions of the Mod,
do you have any actual release dates or screens?
I would really like to command Janissaries

Freeze ... might be a heat problem, eventually check your cooling-system, also it can be a psu problem. And another tip, open your case, and look after dust in the case, remove it.

1: The script thing is explained already, please look through the relevant posts (or the readme included in the chivalry folder), especially the latest release post, where i explained that you have not to run the script by all means, you can let it disabled, but if you have started with the script it is better to activate it for a reloaded game. It is a add-money script for the AI only.

2: Originally planned, yes, but it is high probable that there won't be a High or Late Era mod on this base (on RTW).

anyways i had opened my case and cleaned it, but it was still freezing from time to time.
what do you think? shall i let the case open or close it?

Normally a case should be closed due to the planned air-streaming. Does it freeze as well with Rome vanilla?

Hi, thanks for the support ZorboZ.

As far as your computer is concerned, does this freezing occur during other games/applications? Either way, you should consider how long its been since your computer was "new", or since you've last formatted the drive which contains your OS. Overtime the system becomes cluttered with "junk" such as outdated or messed up registry files. There is always software, most of which can be found for free, which can help deal with this, by cleaning out the registry, de-fragmenting, etc. But this usually works best when done a regular basis. Other than that, you should also check for spy ware, and unnecessary background programs which may run from start up and take up system memory. Of course, you should always update your drivers as well...

Your computer may not be the most "physically fit" but there are plenty of things you can do optimize its performance without upgrading. Just be careful of what you do, and like DaVinci said, ask around in The Basement sub-forum at TWC, or some computer related forum if you are not sure.

I do know it is because of the Computers age, but i did just install XP on it,
and before i had win98, and nothing freezed there, just lagged in games, but then continued.
i think its because xp has more System requirements.

its probably that to because usually when you update the system the computer should also be upgraded, like ram, video card, and all relevant to that.. it makes all programs run smoother and makes games look better
