Hello guys, i recently came into the ownership of an FX-55 for my socket 939 comp... on that comp im using an AMD 64 +4400 x2... should i keep the dual core or would it be worth the hassle of putting in the new proc? i would like to OC the hell outta the 55 cuz its Multiplier unlocked... and i really only play games on there... other than games i will listen to music and surf the web at the same time, but thats easy enough for a single core. im just not sure if the X2 is actually faster than the stock 55 or if the 55 (when i OC it) will make a big enough differance in games that its worth the 10 minutes of my life to swap it out...

You got it, see what it can do. Ten minutes for a potentially great overclocking experience, worth it IMO. You can always go back.
