    Default Vista help.

I've searched high and low in this forum for an answer but I fear none was to be had.

Anyhow, my problem comes when I try to launch the TLR bat file. It brings up a splash screen and promptly CTD's. I played TLR on my other computer just fine but that ran xp. I digress.

Has this issue been brought up before or am I with my temperamental laptop the only to face such a dilemma? If this has been addressed and fixed I would be pleased to know as I would enjoy playing the mod again on my new computer.

    WaZaaa!!!

I guess first up is to ensure that you have the official M2TW patch 1.2 installed coz the latest TLR mod requires it... I run the mod on Vista Ultimate 32-bit and it seems to work just fine... Perhaps on XP you had M2TW updated already, explaining how comes it worked previously, so I guess check to make sure that you have the patch downloaded then installed...

Otherwise, I'm not quite sure why it ain't working...

Yes I started dling the update, I did forget to update recently, sleep deprivation has that effect. I also post with an accent of a pompous European lord, but all is well, or should be i hope.

Edit: I do have another question, is there anything I have to edit to play or is that taken care of?

Nope nothin else to do other than install patch then mod then add-on if desired... It's pretty straightforward I guess... Once all those steps're done, you can launch TLR v2.0.0 straight from the original M2TW launcher and that's it

Peaceage and hope you enjoy the great mod I'm enjoyin as well!!!

I have windows Ultimate 64 bit and could not get TLR to work, reinstalled on a fresh partition and then patched to version 1.2 then installed LTR and Bingo, works no probs now, Tornight dude - this is the best MTW 2 mod out there!
