    Default Any programmers?

I was wondering who the computer programmers on this board are and what languages they know.

My specialty is C++ and Java, the common of the common.

I only know a little bit of Objective-C, I'm afraid. Too little to do much of anything.

... isn't Gaidin a programmer or something along those lines?

    Yes...he is.
One thing is for certain: the more profoundly baffled you have been in your life, the more open your mind becomes to new ideas.

Let's think the unthinkable, let's do the undoable. Let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.

Everyone who I know who has gotten a job doing this has had some kind of connections get them in, that includes me.

Finding it otherwise seems to be near impossible.

Getting an entry level job is easy. Options are everywhere, and you don't really need connections to get it.

Getting an entry level job you like...not so much.

    Best reply so far.

I know: C(++), Java, Lisp and Prolog.
I like the high level languages (Lisp & Prolog) the most.

Mostly bash (linux command line) but I have experience in python, C++, C, and I did a bit of Java once or twice.

I know a tiny bit of Prolog, thats all. I have no idea how to actually program something in a procedural language.
