Default Asking permission to integrate RC into SV

    Dear Sicilian Vespers:

First of all congratulations on your great mod. It looks very impressive (I haven't had the time to play a longer campaign, yet).

Another guy and me want to integrate RC into SV and we hereby ask your permission to do so.

The integration involves mostly changes in the stats of the EDU which will result in longer battles and the pronounciation of elite units versus non-elite units.

    Regards
    Notger.

    You have permission

I know a few people have their own projects going on, like adding factions, etc, so I'll create a fan contributions thread when you are finished.

I'm looking forward to trying it

    Thank you very much.
We will notify you, as soon as work is done.

(Muttering to himself: Isn't it kind of funny, that a fan mod (SV) gets its own fan mods? Would you call that a fan mod mod?)

    In general they call sub-mods.
#Anthropocene #not just Global Warming but Global Disaster, NASA #Deforestation #Plastic Emission #The Blob #Uninhabitable Earth #Savest Place On Earth #AMOC #ICAN #MIT study "Falsehoods Win" #Engineers of Chaos
#"there can be no doubt about it: the enemy stands on the Right!" 1922, by Joseph Wirth.
Rightwingers, like in the past the epitome of incompetence, except for evilness where they own the mastership.
#"Humanity is in ‘final exam’ as to whether or not it qualifies for continuance in universe." Buckminster Fuller
Any chance for this exam? Very low, because the established Anthropocentrism destroys the basis of existence.

As we are currently digging deeper and deeper into the EDU, i noticed a small detail, that let me wonder.

The issue came up as i was editing the bulgarian unit "Vlach Peasants". In every detail, in their values, in their costs and even in their appearance on the battlefield, they resemble the "Woodsmen" unit of other eastern factions.

But when reading the unit description, the same text appears as the one the hungarian unit "Transylvanian Peasants" uses, even indicating, that they use halberds. Now, obviously they swing good old choppy-choppy two handed axes.

Were they intended as woodsmen and you assigned the wrong unit description or is it the other way round and you wanted a halberd-swingig peasant unit and something else went wrong?

If you wish, send me a PM and tell me where to edit the allocation of the unit description (not in the EDU i suppose, i do not see any reference to the Transylvanian Peasants here) or, in case they should swing halberds, how to assign them the halberd-graphics and animation and i´ll change the units´ values.

    PS:
I´d prefer "fancy-fan-mod" that has a nice ring to it.
