Hello - was wondering if anyone has played The Long Road using Windows Vista Ultimate - 64 bit (or any 64 bit Vista, for that matter). Thanks for your reply in advance.

I play with Vista Business 64bit. It runs perfect. I have found that I had to disable cutscenes during battles though, otherwise I get CTDs everytime a cutscene starts to happen.
after i disabled them it runs just as good as 32 bit XP.
A cut scene during battle? I've never even seen one...what are they of?
Which preferences tag relates to battle cutscenes?
Thanks much for your help.
make sure this line is in your .cfg file
event_cutscenes = 0
it is originallly on 1.
It is when ever a general dies or walls are breached it goes to a cutscene. you have to turn that off.
Mind if I ask what 3d card you use? Also sound card?

Winsdows Vista 64bit ultimate running with Geforce 7950GT no problems encountered, have not tried the cut scenes yet.
Excuse me if I'm intruding, but i would just like to know where i can get the long road mod please?

Check the stickies. Lots of good info there.
To those who have Vista 64...
When you install, do you have UAC turned on or off?
What folder do you change the security settings for allowing certain user classes to edit files? If any?
Thanks so much
UAC is on.
I do not assign any folders special permissions.
I just install as I would on XP, and everything works fine.
