Simple and perhaps foolish question...

Hello - hope you don't mind me asking here instead of the main forum. The answers I receive here are usually so good.

How can I be sure I have the English version? I purchased mine via the internet from Gamestop (US), but I noticed that when I run the install it gives me the option of installing Italian or English...I obviously pick English but didn't know if maybe I actually do have an Italian version which could be contributing to my CTDs ?

If its giving you a choice as to what language you want and you select ONLY english (though I doubt your able to select more then one) then you only have the english installed. No Italian.

As for what version the game you bought actually is can't tell ya. If you bought it from gamestop US, your game very likely a US version. I know I have the UK version and it works fine (maybe better then most since I've only had one ctd while playing this mod).


If your getting quite a few ctd's check your hardware, see if it meets the requirements. Also defrag, never hurts

Theres a few other things but I need to know how many ctd's you get, where , when, and hopefully why.

I think the only issue with Non-English MTW2 is the lack of all the sound files in some of the packages.

Thats why mods with changed sounds cause issues.
