    Screw it. Broken Cres will be out in a few days... that'll tide me over until another good mod comes along.

    Yes I'm looking forward to that too. Although certainly I like the long road in it's current build and it can only get better.

    In the 2.1.0 version will the units have dual weapons or not?I hope they will!!
    Count me in waiting list.
    TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
    Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

    IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
    Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

    Fantastic.

    I havnt yet the chance to test out all the files youve posted, so tonight, its aboutt ime i gave it a go

    nice one buddy.

    Edit:
    After 1 battle i noticed a HUGE difference, was only a small 1 at the beginning of a HRE campaign, but very good none the less. i hope its equally as good during large scale battles.

    1 problem though, im not too keen on starting with 220,000 gold

    Sorry, Mate! Gave a good go for the economic status of the HRE at the time. It balances out later especially with costs. Cut it down to a 4th on all factions if you like. The only thing wrong with this game is variety of units(personal thing) and size of units. But everything else is accurate. For the most part. WIP! As you make your millions, you will notice that the cost of bribes and diplomacy will rise. Trust me you'll need the money.

    hello everyone, i was playing the older version of dang dont remember now but 2.0 was two upgrades better lol. Anyway i found this sight just today and read all about this mod and am curious what has happened? I am currently downloading the 2.0 and the gfx+add on.

    Does everyone totally rely on filefront though? i am a member there but still cannot download anything from them. I am currently downloading from the alternate download site thank god its there. The version i originally downloaded i found on strategy informer which was a much better site to down load from.

    i love the version i was playing but still as with the vanilla the thing that bugs me is other nations strolling on my land and i cant do anything politically to resolve the issue. but lord forbid if i step on their then my rating drops like a rock and the pope rides my butt. not fair lol

    I hope all is well with torn and i wish him all the best and a speedy return. my next stop is the mod learning threads

    Welcome!

    Some of the AI mods try to solve the issue of the unwelcome guest armies. At some point, TLR will likely get some AI updates, and so it may change.

    Acegogo hasmade some great new graphics for TLR, they are in a sticky post in this thread: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=131761

    Unfortunately, Tornnight is absent. We hope he may return; but frankly I don't know. He's been very busy with real life stuff. But we're soldiering on and working to keep TLR alive!

    Well, does the AI use the money well too?? Cos at the end of the day its all about the battles, and if i get quality battles, then im all for lots of money

    I have had some great battles against the cream of the Turk and the Fatimid. The rebels even bother me, too. Wait 'til the rebels attack or make themselves known in great numbers with sergeant swordsmen, mailed knights or halberdiers!

    BTW, Papal States is set to catholic_faction(personal preference). So you all might want to change this to papal_faction in the descr_strat in the 'world' folder in 'data'.

    I tired to open the battle_config.xml and config_ai_battle.xml to see what you had done and I can't open them for some reason. the other files I can open. What would be the reason for that? I don't know much about modding and I'm slowly learning so any info would be appreciated. Thanks

    open them with notepad, change what you like. (Be careful though as you can mess things up) and then save them. Most of the other files are text documents and easier to deal with, generally.

    Installed Condottiere SOG's changes. For some reason my mini map is scaled in. I'm all the way zoomed out, but the west cuts off the map display at about mid- spain and Ireland (small issue). I can still scroll over to that part, but it just doesn't show up in the mini-map.

    The other thing I noticed, is my relationships with other factions seems to stay Reasonable. I ally with someone, and I keep getting messages, "Relationship Approved: Reasonable." I launched a Crusade against Syria, wiped out half their caliphate, and saw that my relations with Syria was Reasonable.

    I'm guessing this isn't normal unless you wanted to make it hard to change your relationship status with other factions.

    Ive got the same thing going on with my map. Not sure why it is. Ive tried to get rid of it but cant. It doesnt seem likely to be from your add-on, but it wasnt like that before I added it. Will keep you posted if I can figure whats going on.

    Edit: I figured it out. I replaced the first add-on you did with the descr_strat and campaign_script, with the orginal's from TLR 2.0. It got the mini-map to show up whole again. Worked for me atleast. The second add-on you put out for ai works fine though. Thanks

    Yup, I found the problem, at least for me...

    I changed a section of Condottiere's campaign script from:


    ;===============================================================
    ;== STARTUP
    ;===============================================================
    restrict_strat_radar false

    end_monitor

    to this:


    ;===============================================================
    ;== STARTUP
    ;===============================================================
    restrict_strat_radar false


    I just deleted the "end monitor". No more issues.

    This mod sounds really good. I won't be able to play it for a few days, so I'd be interested in hearing how it plays out in the long run.
