CTD with IBFD 7 and with the 7.03 patch too

First off i want to say that your mod looks great, and the little i've been able to play of it is marvelous. Unfortunately, i can barely play through a few turns and then the game CTDs for no reason. I have tried reinstalling the mod several times and still i run into the same problem. I tried playing with just the main 7.0 install as well and i still get this problem. The CTD's seem to come out of nowhere and for no single reason. Sometimes it happens in a battle, sometimes in the strat map.
I really don't know what is wrong and im quite frustrated because the game seems quite enjoyable. I hope this can be fixed.

As frustrating as it may sound, but it seems like something's wrong with your RTW installation. If you reinstalled the mod several times and the very same problem still exists it's probably not depending on the mod....so try reinstalling RTW instead?

Which faction did you play? Do you have full script enabled or not?

with both WRE and ERE i got ctds

i will try to do a full reinstall soon i guess

Ok, i reinstalled everything, Rome, then BI, then 1.6 patch. Then i installed IB. Unfortunately, i still encounter the same problem. Any ideas what this could be? Other mods work perfectly like Chiv and EB, there must be something wrong with this install, this is very disappointing

hmmm....sorry for giving wrong hints!

Are you playing with full scripts enabled? Try it out with no scripts - they tned to make the game unstable.

Another possibility...did everything go right when the installer was executed i.e. was the DOS window open for a couple of minutes or rather for a couple of seconds? If you had errors (2nd possibility) there is a way to install it manually.

Yes that DOS thing was on for quite awhile. Is that what's wrong with it? Im guessing the install was wrong then. How do i do a manual install?

No, in this case everything should be very correct.

Strange.

Try turning off the scripts (ibfd -> options -> scripts. Execute NO SCRIPTS and follow the installation instructions.) Hopefully this will help.....otherwise I'm really clueless. Good luck!

Btw what's in the scripts, what am i missing?

I just get CTD's playing as the WRE now. The game won't even start. In my ERE game, if i scroll the screen towards the visigoths in italy, the game CTD's, so it must be a problem with the visigoths.

I never seem to get those CTD's, although I had to stop playing because the game mysteriously crashes at the exact same date upon ending a turn (regardless of faction). Unfortunately I can't remember the date and I can't be bothered to play all the way through just to get it again. I think it was 50-100 turns in (lol, narrows it down). But I guess this is a different CTD to yours
