can i run UAI 1.5 with SS?
yes... there was a thread where it was described very well... but i canīt find it anymore...someone can post the link?
and a problem: you canīt use the CNP 3.0 with UAI 1.5 cause they use both the descr.strat.txt file which shall be replaced... and UAI 1.5 wonīt work without it. SO: you have to implement the changes from UAI 1.5 manually in your CNP 3.0 descr.strat.text !!! and nobody instead of GrandViz knows how to do that...
So it does work but its complicated, I would not know how to enter in manually as soon as I start getting into total war data files it makes my head hurt!

There have been changes to descr_strat.txt, that require that you to start a new campaign.

it's looks like this mod made the AI knights templar doesn't do anything? I'm Milan now but with toggle_fow I saw the knights templar just sit there in their own region without doing anything???!!!
Did you start a new campaign? If yes, what turn is it and what does the military balance between Knights Templar and neighbours look like. Are they at war?

I noticed, that you have set different diplomacy settings in your campaign file. This will make the campaign too peaceful, as naopleonic has described in the previous post.
As a rule, if you want factions to go early to war with each other, you need to set their relations to -0.8 at least!
EDIT: OK, I misunderstood. This is the unmodified file, it doesn't even include the right AI profiles.

Now I'm at a crossroads: Do I install CNP3.0 to get the better names in my current Byzantine Campaign, or do I install UAI and get better AI...
Something really strange happened in my Byzantium campaign and I am not sure its a fault in the script... basically there was a crusade declared in the early stages like turn 20 or so...crusade on antioch...I had a ship near just to see whats up...the Egyptians decided to conquer Antioch 3 turns after the crusade was launched...shouldn't the AI try to avoid such a scenerio??
To make matters clear, the settlement was owned by rebels before the crusade.
I guess the egyptians really, really, really wanted antioch![]()
