Putting Vanilla Cavalry Charge back in...
Hail,
Right, I am playing LTC 2.3 but I find the cavalry charges a bit of an anti-climax and would like to put back in the vanilla charges (much more powerful) anybody have an idea how I would go about this?
With thanks,
BF.

Increase the mass of the horses. The horse mass is the key factor for the efficiency of a charge. You should find it in descr_mounts.txt. (I might be wrong, I do not have a copy of the game here and have to guess/remember - what amounts to nearly the same.)

Well the mount mass in LTC is higher than vanilla, your best bet would be to increase the primary weapon attack, and charge bonus for primary weapon in export_descr_unit.txt

Cheers.
I noticed that the knights in LTC had a greater mass so I realised it couldn't be that. I will try primary and charge bonus.
