Default Druzhina, Huscarls and Boyar Sons.

I'm in the middle of home balancing my own game (using Stainless Steel as base) as I always do with my TW games. So far, changes have included seriously buffing D. Gothic Knight, nerfing D. Christian Guard and slightly improving D. Boyar Sons (since they are otherwise identical to D. Druzhina, boring!). I got to testing and well... I noticed that regular D. Druzhina will tear D. Gothic Knights a new a-hole. Druzhina! A tier 3 unit, I believe that is not really meant to be anything more than Medium infantry, can easily take down the "heaviest" infantry unit in the game.

I posted this here because I'm not sure wether Stainless Steel installs any new animations that could improve/decrease the powress of any of these two units.

Do you guys think it should be like this? I suppose it would be a good counter towards D. Gothic Knights, but I mean... Druzhina?

Druzhina, hmm.. if you ask me, i think it's the spear that he's holding, the spear always get overpowered somewhat, i think that's it, it was the same when i used it, it actually killed 2 rows of army in one charge one time, altho it was against peasants.. but the most non-overpowered spearmen unit is byzantine spearmen which they are just INCREDIBLY weak, like freakin peasants.

+rep for me if you agree with me , i might give it right back to you

Dismounted Druzhina fight with an axe tho, so I'm guessing it's the armor piercing that does it.

    Hi Evil Ned,

hmm... I havn't recognized that yet, but I agree I think this shouldn't be like that...
I will try to balance them more, especially all halberd, pike and zweihander units...
    Thanks for the note!

don't lower than too much, especially for byz spearmen, they are WEAK enough as it is. The horses charge into the spear formation without dieing,
