Installation Help

I installed a fresh version of Rome Total War, including patches 1.3 and 1.5, then i installed the RomaSurrectumVer1 in the Roma Total War Folder, followed by the RomaSurrectum10 in the same folder. When I run the game, I see the new splash screen and all, but trying to start a campaign, I am brought back to the main menu, why?

did u run the New_UI.bat?
if not im sure thats what your problem comes from

When I first made the post, I hadn't, then I went back and read it and realized I had to run that. I ran it and I hit any key once, then A, and did that all a second time, it took a few minutes. I started the game back up thinking that was going to be the problem, but it was the same thing. I click the roman faction, start the campaign, it brings me back to the previous menu. I thought maybe I had to play the prologue, but I just crash to the desktop when I try to play the prologue. Help me =\

did you go to preferences .txt and set First_time: True to false?

Run both UI.bat, and New_UI.bat, and if possible, install the Hotfix. It may be that you didn't run UI.bat.

Alright, since I have changed first time play to false, ran both UI.bat and New_UI.bat, and installed the hotfix. It still does the same thing. I pick the Roman faction, go to start the campaign, and it brings me to the previous menu. What have I done wrong? Is it possible that running the game before running the UI.bat and New_UI.bat could've possibly messed it up? I don't want speculation, preferably someone who knows it would or wouldn't for sure.

Where did you install the mod, into the Rome - Total War folder or the data folder?

In Pereferences did you set auto save to false?

did you say "yes" when it asked whether to overwrite the data files (we had someone not do this, so it all went INTO his data file, rather than replacing the neccessary files)?

Are you sure you have the correct install file for the mod? I had this exact same problem yesterday, everything looked correct, faction names, logos, new splash screen, but when I tried to start a campaign it always returned me to the main menu. It turned out I'd downloaded the wrong file, one that was 91 meg instead of 144 meg. Your install file should be called "RS_-_Full_Install_1.10a"
