    Default Out of Range ????

My computer system meets the requirements of the game and all is good until i attack in game play.
It goes to loading screen and then thats it really.
A text box appears sayin out of range 48.5 kHz
then another appears stating "power saving Mode"
This is my problem once this occurs i have no further control of the screen.

How can i get around this error ?

    Cheers

Your resolution and/or refresh rate are too high.

edit the file 'medieval2.preferences.config' to change this (battle_resolution and campaign_resolution)

Have you tried to tweak everything on the lowest setting in the options menu? = Shader v1, campaign shadows off, no bloom etc. and gradually moving it up?

    Cheers for the help,

What solved this problem was uninstalling the old monitor driver which had a maximum of 70 hertz and downloaded a driver from Ati which allowed up to 200 hertz. So in all my refreshing rate was too slow
