    Default Suggestion: Change to Inquisitors

    I love the ideas of the Inquisitors, but I'm wondering if their behavior could be changed and if so, how much.

    Inquisitors are a great challenge to deal with in LTC, but I'm wondering if they could be changed in a few key areas.

    First, it seems to me that Inquisitors don't add or detract anything from public order, but they rely on public outcry to help justify their tactics. So:

    Successful execution: public order decreases via religious unrest (the people are angry at the presense of a heretic in their midst)

    Unsuccessful inquisition: Public order bonus (Hooray! He's not a heretic!)

    Presence in one of your territories: additional religious unrest, negative effect to population growth.

    Finally, add some points to heresy targets, stuff that adds or decreases piety.

    Finally, have a chance at denouncing and executing the inquisitor! Targets of unusually high faith have an opportunity to reverse the tables on an Inquisitor without having to go through the services of an assassin. Add bonuses for things like association with the Royal Family, piety (obviously), chivalry and cruelty, etc.

    Just a suggestion. Thanks for putting so much effort into this mod, good luck on your work with CA!

    None of that is possible.

    Damn, too bad. So is this because such class affects are hardcoded or something? It's not even possible to make a minimod out of it?

    Yup its hardcoded, and when i said it's not possible, i meant not possible, so no you can't mod it.

    Inquisitors have gone from one extreme to the other. Deadly and slightly overpowered in 1.1 to rather ineffectual in 1.2. One can pretty much ignore them now. I think somewhere in the middle would have been more suitable.

    Yup im gonna be using the 1.2 values but raising their base chance in 3.0 so they are powerful, but not too bad.

    Yeah, I notched up their base chance by around 5 % if I recall correctly.

    so theres no way to get rid of the from the game or make it like in ultimate AI?
