Re: startup help
i had that same problem the first time i tried to install the game. Did you patch up all the way to 1.5 (or 1.6 if you are using Barbarian invasion)? Im using gold edition and i read somewhere that if i install barbarian invasion that i dont have to patch the game at all because it was already patched up to 1.6 (wrong!)
Maybe it's not the same for other ones but mine was only patched to 1.4 so I had to get the 1.6 patch. Now it works perfectly.
Don't give up guck, this is by far my favorite mod. The AI is actually smart in battle and it makes for a much more challenging and fun game.

Re: startup help
so let me get this straight.
1) RTW
2) RTW BI
3) Patch to 1.6
4) DarthMod 8.0
5) DarthMod 8.1
6) DarthMod Formations Pack
Is this correct?

Re: startup help
I don't know what to tell ya guck. Try uninstalling everything completely and doing it all over and like it says in Darths instructions, check to see if the game works after each step. Then maybe you can pinpoint where the problem is and go from there.
