Where do i but these sort of files? to complete install the unit where do i start?

That isn't a skin, that looks like you opened a model in a text editor.

.CAS file are not meant to be exited with a text editor.

Why don't you look in the tutorials for how to add a unit into the game and it will tell you how to use that file.

If you want to change that file you need to use the software 3DSMax.

thats the units stats the apperance of a unit is set by the descr_model_battle text file find the unit you want to change and alter it so that it uses the new model and texture names make sure you have put the model (cas files) in the models_unit folder and the textures in the textures folder
