When I try to extract mod files, or even mod files myself, I get a message saying I don't have permission to use them. Anyone know what I am doung wrong.

Are you running vista by any chance?
Are you logged in as an administrator (if you're running XP)?

its on my parents computer which has vista. Mine works fine(XP), but theres just runs the game better.

Okay.
Does your account on your parent's comp have admin access (or do you get the UAC prompt?)
