    Default localized pack

I didn't know where to really put this but, I have the polish version of M2TW, but I got tired with the rather weak translation, and I'd like to play M2TW in english. So there if anyone could send me the localized pack from an english version of M2TW, I'd be really grateful.(oh it has to be the localized pack from 1.2, as early versions screw up the descriptions and such).

I don't believe that that's either legal or possible.

how so? I do have legal copy of M2TW, and I don't see a breach in the copyright terms or anything. Theoretically, this I believe can be considered as "modding" from one language to another.

Even if we were to accept for a minute that the licence allowed this, the very size of the pack files makes such a transfer between members impossible.

Oh i think thats not a problem. Rapidshare, or megaupload can easily take care of the rather small size of the file. Concerning the legality again, I think it would be unlegal, if I was asking for a number of files, whereas this is only one wordpad file, which weighs 30mb(?). anyways if you feel that it is not really safe, then its ok. I'll try contacting CA about this.

I'll think you'll find that you will have to buy the english version of the game.

I think you'll end up with more problems than you can take care of (incompatibility between file versions, for example) this way; might just be easier to grab an english copy of the game...

I don't know if I explained it wrongly but it works like this:

Localized pack, is 1 file responsible for languages. If you say have a Spanish copy of the game, you send it to someone and that someone replaces his old localized pack file with the new one, he's get a spanish version game.

As I said, it is impossible for me to get a English version in poland, because:
I don't want to spent money for another M2TW just to get the English version, when I can just replace the file.
    Poland's distributor doesn't sell English version M2TW.
I don't buy through the internet.
