    Default Installing New Video Card

When I was installing my new video card, I forgot to uninstall the old video card drivers. So I took out the old card, put in the new card, and turned on my computer, basically. Afterwards, I looked at the directions and step 1 said "you must first uninstall the current drivers for the existing card!"
So my question is.....did I damage my new video card by skipping step 1?

nah dont worry about it, no harm could be done. Just uninstall your old drivers and then install the latest ones from your cards website.

    No.
The worst thing that could happen is windows failing to boot because it can't find the old card.
But I'm pretty sure windows will just use the default drivers instead, so you could also replace the cards first, then uninstall the old driver, then install the new driver.

If I'm not completely mistaken it only matters (largely) if you switch brands, IE Nvidia/Ati. But different cards may need different versions, so that may cause some problems too...

    Both cards are Nvidia.
