that's pretty weird.. you're the first to encounter that problem and I don't know of any events or anything that are supposed to run at turn 11 / 12 so it's very strange that it CTD's consistanly at turn 11 like that.

can't upgrade beyond wooden castles, although i have exceeded the population limit and i have received the message that i am allowed to upgrade the castle... for the cities the game is working fine, the problem seems to be only for castles (for mtw 12 with TLR 241)
question answered in other thread
I downloaded from Games On Net File Library like COG suggested, but every time I give it Administrator permission it did nothing. How do I solve this?
Here's where I got it;

Windows Vista, to my chagrin.
Ah the wonderous world of vista,
you can install it but it won't run right ?
did you install M2TW in the "program files" folder ? if yes, thats your problem right there
reinstall everything in another folder ( I used my documents but any will do )
Ah, I see.
I tried just moving it, do I have to uninstall then reinstall?
you can just reinstall in my docs or you can just copy your med 2 folder across, either way it doesn't matter but i doubt you want 2 copies on your PC taking up space. Then just reinstall 2.0 TLR, as some files will not have been added due to vista's crazy security.
I think i've installed it the right way but when I start the Grand Campaign It lookes weird with all white parts in it and it looks like it is broken
Please help me

Okay, way too many posts in this thread to fish through them all so apologies if this is a repeat post.
Playing from a fresh installation of Medieval 2 (v1.2) with no additional add ons or mods. Installed latest version of The Long Road mod without incident (from this thread: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=429392).
My game frequently crashes at the end of my turn sequence, once the rebel turn completes but before my turn begins. This happens very frequently on newer games, roughly 30% of the time at the end of any turn regardless of the faction I play, and seems to occur less frequently as my campaign progresses.
Cheers.
Nevermind my previous, I now see this issue has been brought up in another thread.

If you wish to avoid crashes i would advise you download this version: http://games.on.net/file/13849/The_L..._Client_v2.0.0Nevermind my previous, I now see this issue has been brought up in another thread.
Hi all !
I'm playing Khwarezm with TLR 2.4.1 and i've diplomacy problems: each time i take a rebel settelement my reputation gets worse. First it's 'untrustworthy' and if i take too many rebel settlements it's even despicable! We're supposed to be at war with them ?
Another point, i was attacked by Abbassids. I took 2 settlements then went to see Egypt (their ally), asked map info against little money (maybe 1000) and our relations changed to perfect. Relations with abbassids changed to perfect too!! So we're at war but our relations are perfect and they keep on attacking me
. And they don't want to make peace !
Sounds buggy ?
Thx
By the way greaaaaaaattttttt mod ! Big thx to the team !
First off are you sacking the cities when you capture them or just occupying. Sacking and exterminating makes you reputation go down.
As to your second point, the diplomacy in TLR at the moment is a little bit weird but I don't think that is a bug
Thx Big Dogg
I never ever sack except when it's a different religion and i really can't do something else. The fact is that all factions had the same problem: they went despicable or deceitful when attacking rebel settlements. I finally fixed TLR diplomacy changing back to vanilla's set and now everything is fine (file descr_faction_standing.txt, between others). Mod team got confused with params (sorry guys). It needs some tuning since vanilla's diplomacy wasn't really perfect (especially protectorates when "protector" attacked his "protected").
Other question: what has to be done so that king's crown changes ? My leader got king at 15 (following an unexpected kill of his father in an awesome battle; hopefully I saved my faction by little!), is now 30, has conquered something like 6 or 7 regions and still is " silver ring"
? Has he to go back to the capital to get a new crown ?
Thx
