Crushing Victory - Is it possible?

In my time of playing M2TW I've played many battles. Some of them I have won pretty bigtime and lost only a few dozen of men while the enemy loses many hundreds or even more than a thousend men

In my opinion, an even battle in the beginning which i win losing only a few men and totally exterminating the enemy should count as a crushing victory. Still i only seem to get a clear victory or a heroic victory if the odds are against me. Still i've suffered crushing defeats a few times before.

Is there any way to get a crushing victory?

heroic sounds like it is better too, so that would make sense.

I once had a battle where the enemy lost a prince and 450 other men and I lost 3... I was behind some walls... and it was just heroic, so I'll agree with you there

if one side has a crushing defeat, the other has a heroic victory.

heroic defeat doesn't really sound right, so they decided to go with crushing instead.

I think it's rather odd to be able to get a crushing defeat but not a crushing victory.

I thin crushing should be the one above clear. Heroic is just when you have worse odds than the enemy.

yep except that defeat and victory are called clear defeat and clear victory...or is that only on RTW? i agree as well crushing defeat is the opposite of heroic victory.

Heroic victory for you/enemy = crushing defeat for enemy/you

Had a battle some days ago, where I had like 2000 men, while the enemy had 6000 coming in three waves (one main army with 2000 men and two reinforcement armies with 2000 each). Won after a hard fight and "only" got heroic victory.

Oh, ok. But i still think there should be something special for when you completely crush the enemy, while having slightly better odds.

I think things are a bit more than just clear if you lose 10 men of a 1000 and the enemy loses all of it's 900 men

you're using the word heroically too lightly, a hero is someone with special abilities who can perform deeds above and beyond the norm hence when you beat an oponent against the odds. In the ancient world heroic had connotations of Godliness and superhuman abilities. like Heracletus

I'm not talking about something better than heroic victory. I just think there should be something better than clear victory when you have better odds. You can only get heroic victory if the odds are against you.

I'm getting kinda bored of clear victory and i think there should be something like ''ripping victory'', or some cool word that could be used when you beat the crap out of the enemy while losing few men. Clear victory should be something like, kill all the 1000 enemy men and lose 300 out of your 1200 men.

Wizard victory. wizard used to be slang for good, cool, great etc (think enid blyton) about 40/50 years ago and is coming back where i live so i vote ofr Wizard victory
