Everything humanly possible.
So you'd kill 10 to preserve 1, Ferrets?
That which does not override the benefit of saving the person - we should not sacrifice more benefit than we gain in any situation.

but we have so many people--- in china they force abortions, and execute for relatively minor charges because they understand life is not precious it is just a commodity like any other --- just a product good for trade, there is nothing special about it.-- equal trade is reasonable i would say---- but with so many people why even bother ?-- would it not just be better to let people die more often to clear the space for the next generation who will be armed with more knowledge than the previous ever could know?
In that case, I'm sure that, as soon as your life becomes economically a burden on others, ie as soon as you retire, you will commit suicide, sir?

I dont have the balls for suicide-- but i could live as a hobo until my hips gave out....
but is our feeling towards the individual a societal "preserve your people" kinda thing or is it a programmed feeling that we have because of the values instilled in us by our people--- so to say is the importance of another humans life found in our genes or in our society?
