    Default Removing a Legion?

I just want to throw this out there, so don't yell at me dvk

First off, I have to state for the record that I love the unique legions, even though I sometimes tease you about how many units they take up As you've said many times, the Legions were the first modern army in world history, and they deserve to be recognized as such. Rome was built by their sweat and blood.

Now, I know you included a few legions from the 1st century AD, which is pushing it a bit as far as our time frame.

So I'm just curious, if we were running short on unit slots given all the new factions we're adding, would you consider cutting 1 or 2 of the legions? If you did, how many slots would we regain?

There are currently 12 slots free. Removing a Legion would free 2 slots per Legion.....assuming of course, I survived the surgery.

    BLASPHEMY!!!!
Cherry, son of someone of somewhere, you have been found guilty by the Forum Elders (read: me) of seeking to remove one or more of the pwnful Legions of Rome from the game, and so as a BLASPHEMER, you are sentenced to death by stoning!
Now then -*stone gets thrown* right, who threw that stone?! Come on, who was it?!

    28. If it becomes absolutely necessary, I will consider this. Right now it isn't, and Tone has been doing a great job using 'multi-functional models' to create textures that can share units, but allow different helmets and weapons. It essentailly allows unique units from one model. So we'll see.

I also offered to Tone the idea that when we get to the time where we can start 'swapping factions', since the player doing doing this is obviously NOT playing Rome, as many as 7 Legions could temporarily be removed so that 14 slots would be available for the faction being 'swapped in'. That means any swapped in faction, Barbarian, eastern, Greek could have as many as 14 TOTALLY unique units for itself. That's quite a few, actually, but it could be done, and if your not playing Rome it doesn't really matter which Legions kill you.

After much careful thought, I support your decision to consider this

What about the Roman AOR, is the AI able to use it properly?

dont you dare remove them, and if you do, make sure they're not segmentata ones! thing is, we've got all the legions we'd ever want no more, and no less! so removing one would just be wrong, IMHO.
