Suggestion for having a subforums for medal and rank discusssion and votes

Occasionaly the proth and curia vote get rather full and it is hard to remember which bills you have voted on,

my suggestion is to make 2 extra subforums in the curia - one for discussion of awarding Opifex and divus ranks + medals and triumphs, and a 2nd for voting on them.

This would reduce the amount of threads in the proth and curia vote as well as hightling the fact that rank and medal votes are different to normal legislation.

I havent posted this in the proth because it doesnt change the system - it just moves were discussion and votes take place - also adding forums isnt a power granted to the curia, so this is more of a suggestion to Hex.

Some feedback would be nice.

Hm, sounds like a sound suggestion really - but it does, I think, change some sections of the Constitution and may be formed as either Decision or Amendment accordingly, and passed through the Curia - if it is a problem the obvious result is Hex veto, no?

Amendment to add them to the constitution is one way to do it, either that or a simple decision to add the extra forums (i think one would be enough) and no need to distinguish them from the proth in the constitution.

In either case the current constitution (and the previous version) both state that extra forums may be added to the curia following an appropriate vote.

Wouldnt be it be simpler to gain Hex's approval and to edit the consitution - I mean it doesnt need to take 10 days too change 'curia vote' to 'curial medals and rank votes' or similar names for a discussion and voting.

Hex can add forums and if they make them, any change to the consitution would therefore be gramatical and therefore the curator has the power to make the editations.

If that cant be done then this thread should be moved to the proth but I think it would be a lot easier to wait a couple of days and if most people who post in this thread agree with the suggestion then to implement it - its not actully changing the process its just reoragnising the subforums for clarity which might not require 3 days of discussion and 7 days of voting - when was the last time a bill for new forums was introduced?

Yes hex could do it but that defeats the point - the idea is the curia is supposed to approve these things, thats why we have a procedure. Its not like theres any rush around here.

For me and I would guess quite a few other people anyway near half a page of threads in the proth or curia vote will put me off from taking part simple because its a bit of a pain to check a dozen votes to see which ones I have already voted in. The emptier the proth and curia vote are the clearer things are, also ranks and medals are clearly different to legislation which changes the consituation and a extra subforum would highlight this.
