This is amazing. In Alabama an 11 year old killed a boar that weighed roughly 1,050 lbs and was around 10 feet long. This is the second large boar seen in the past few years...it makes you wonder what else the forests of America and the world hold.

You have no idea how many people I had to call asses on the usatoday website because they were calling that kid a hillbilly, a detriment to society, and the worst, a future murderer and drug dealer... I hate people

Im glad its dead. Thing looked look like it crawled from the depths of hell itself. Boars are mean, and that one weighs half a ton. I think that kid did us all a favor. Why he had to use the big Smith and Wesson 500 Magnum is beyond me, though. How could an 11 year old even shoot that monster of a gun? It would have been more humane to shoot it with a high power rifle once and have it die right then and there.

Boars are worthless creatures, thus there is no reason to not kill them for pleasesure. And there's also tons of meat in it, but I bet you are a vegetarian with little stick arms.

Granted the story is a bit disturbing to me, the kid had a .50 cal pistol to take it down.

Why does an 11 year old need a .50 cal pistol? But that is another story...

About the .50 cal pistol, i'm surprised a 11 year old can shoot it let alone have his parent allowing him to use it.
