So yeah, even though the difference may be insignificant but Im wondering which one is better between 1Gb PC3200 RAM and 1256Mb PC2700 RAM.

i'm thinking it's the first one (1Gb PC3200 RAM) because it's PC3200 which in my newbie's eyes looks newer than PC27000, but i'm not sure.
1GB pc3200 is a little faster until you run out of RAM and have to use the swap file, then it becomes a whole lot slower.
So the real question is: will 1GB be enough or not?
I think for most games 1GB is enough, but some newer games might need some more.
Try 1GB first and see if the swap file is used or not (you can use use start->administative tools->Performance for that).
Ok thanks for all the inputs.

Well, obviously the PC3200 is faster than the PC2700, the extra 256MB of PC2700 RAM is worth sacraficing for the PC3200. Although, what format is the PC2700 in? 1256MB is an odd amount of RAM to get. You need either 2 or 4 sticks of RAM for DDR, 3 sticks wont work, and I have never heard of a 1256MB stick of RAM. If it was two 512 sticks and a 256 stick, then that would be 1280MB of RAM.
