    Default UAI Mod

    Hi!

Is is possible to use Ultimate AI mod with this mod? Or is it already in it?

Its not in it. The 1.2 patch improved the diplomacy greatly.

UAI does improve diplomacy but it still seems to have some nagging issues with some inactive/passive factions. These factions don't expand or do much of anything. I haven't tried the latest UAI but some of the posts on DLV suggest that it hasn't improved.

Well, there is ONE single post in DLV reporting an issue with the mongol faction. There are others that say, they don't have this issue at all. So please don't generalize if you haven't tried the mod yourself.

You are right GrandVizier. One post and apparently an older version of UAI. My apologies...

Thanks, but maybe an apology is too much.

The issue with the Mongols occurs, because they enter the game, after all other factions have built large empires, and it might be, that the thresholds for an offensive declaration of war are too high.

Another aspect are faction relations: when the Mongols enter the game, they have neutral relations with everyone I think.

I'll offer a fix with the next update.

    Ok thanks for answer.

Then my next question is this. Would it be possible to add it? Can I do this myself or will that corrupt the mod?

    Thanks!

I have only tried your 2 latest versions. Did you do many changes in the files or is it possible to download the 1.5 version and copy the same files from there?

Don't overwrite the descr_strat.txt, that is provided in the archive, as it merges the changes from LTC and UAI. The other files can be updated to the latest version. However, there are many changes to UAI and LTC, that won't work together, if you don't resolve the conflicts in the files manually.
