Cracks aren't allowed here. Do you have a friend with the game? Ask him if he can burn you a copy.
The noise means that the laser can't read the disk (duh?).

The same thing kind off happened with me. Whenever I try to install the game normally it will say, Cyclic Disk Error on Data.pak4, but luckily I backed up all the files on my brothers computer so all I had to do was transfer the corrupt ones - However the game doesn't run that well like it used to because of the scratches so I'm just waiting for Medieval 2: Kingdoms to be released so I can play without jumpiness again

There are crack fixers/repair kits out there. I don't know how well they work, but a CompUSA or something similar should carry them.

Otherwise, get a no-cd crack from the net. You can google for it, I'm sure.

I repaired an irreplacable CD using bicarbonate toothpase as a 'polish'. The trick is only to polish moving from the centre of the disk out to the rim, NOT in circles or around the disk/along the line of the scratch. Of course the toothpaste should be washed off before you bung the CD back in your PC...

If you google scratched cd and toothpaste you'd probably get definitive advice.

Also, I believe there is a damaged disk replacement policy with SEGA. Try mailing their customer care dept or support. You should be able to just send the damaged disc in and get a replacement.

**Upon further investigation.. seems that Sega does NOT replace damaged discs. They refer to the original retailer. See here.
