Please help installing a skin

Hello, im trying to install a skin in XGM that i downloaded and i put the .tga were it needed to and the .cas went were it needed to be. i then put the correct info into DMB. When i went to the game to see if it worked right i got the error "model database failed to load model data/models_unit/Armoured_hoplite.cas". What could i have done wrong??? Thank you to anyone who helps!!!!!

I Dont play XGM myself but do XGM units install into a custom XGM folder or the main game data folders? if it uses its own check that you havent installed the new files into the default game folders by accident

they install into a custom folder. and i check the main rtw folder and no it didnt install in there. im completly lost here. i re-checked all my entrys for the skin im trying to install and everything is where its supposed to be.

Does your EDU entry make the correct reference to the DMB entry?
What skins or units did you download?? Perhaps knowing exactly what files came with the download and how you installed them can help someone here point out the problem.

i downloaded KLA's hoplite pack and i was installing the armoured hoplite skin. i tried Armoured_Hoplite, armoured_hoplite, Armoured hoplite and armoured hoplite in the EDU and DMB and none worked.

That eror apear when you have inccorect path for models or corrupted models..
You need to add corect path in DMB for that new unit becouse XGM use -mod:xgm ,so instead of

data/models_unit/...
you should have
xgm/data/models_unit/....
asuming that u have put that unit in xgm folder

i put them in the xgm folder not the main RTW folder. im completly stumped on this. if i knew how to paste text on here i would put up the whole entry.

Post your entries friend. It'll be the quickest way for someone to perhaps spot the problem. Just copy & paste. It's fairly simple. Although i would probably just take MacedOn at his word. He's an excellent modder and if he says your problem is an incorrect path for models in your DMB and or corrupted models you can safely bet it's one of those two.
