Default The answer for all atheist?

The answer that you are looking for is here. Many people didn't believe in god, do you know why you don't believe in these things. Some of the members say they have faith for their families and loved ones. It's hard to say you don't have faith that you can't see him. Athiest think hard, ask yourself these question:-

Why am I here?. What am I doing here?. What's my purpose?. What's my goal?. What will happen to me?. Who created me?. Who created this magical land?. Who told me that these are my parents?.

Ask yourself these question and think hard. Choose, whether if you want to change your belief. Think and choose, this is your destiny. I am not good nor evil. I talk good but use evil.

I can't answer any of those questions, but I'm not weak minded enough to let some two-thousand year old guy with fantasies of world-domination tell me what to think...

EDIT: Actually, screw that, I can answer these...

    Why am I Here?
    Because I was born

    What am I doing here?
    Living

    What's my purpose?
To survive and live a good, long life

    What's my goal?
Isnt' that the same as my purpose?

    What will happen to me?
I have no idea, that's what life is about

    Who created me?
My mother and father... mostly my mother...

    Who created this magical land?
No one, the world was created at the begining of the universe, and the "world" was created over billions of years of tectonic and climactic shifting

Who told me that these are my parents?
    ... they did...

    Why am I here?.
    Because i was born.

    What am I doing here?.
    What i want.

    What's my purpose?.
Ultimately to reproduce, but apart from that i will decide.

    What's my goal?.
To live a long happy life my way.

    What will happen to me?.
When i die? My consciousness will dissipate and my body will rot or be created. I will be no more.

    Who created me?.
My parents, you know through sex.

    Who created this magical land?.
No one, it came about because of events as a result of the lwas of physics and other things. We don't understand it all yet, but we understand a lot more then we used to.

Who told me that these are my parents?.
They did, though of course a simple DNA test would confirm whether they are or not.

Ask yourself these question and think hard. Choose, whether if you want to change your belief. Think and choose, this is your destiny. I am not good nor evil. I talk good but use evil.
I've had 18 years of my life to think about my beliefs, Nothing has convinced me there is a God or diety of any sort. My destiny will be what i choose, but ultimately i aim to help people, and try to make as many people more happy as i can.

And the uber-god created god and the super uber-god created the uber-god.
We can continue going like that for all eternity.
But that would be a waste of time when there is a life to be lived.

Ah... well if you goal is convert all the non-believers you aren't doing a very good job.

Now I'm no biologist so what I about to say may have a few inaccuracies but should be pretty much right. If someone more knowledgeable can correct me, please do (and I mean in biology not from a theological point of view). Who created the "first parents?" Well what do you mean first parents? I suppose the first parents would have been the first amino acids that sat in the primordial goo at the beginning of the Earth. How did they get there, I don't know. It is likely that by chance the necessary compounds that form amino acids accidentally came together followed by millions of more accidents that eventually led to the formation of the first proteins. Once these proteins were formed the basic building blocks of like existed.

Of course you'll ask who created the elements, well we have the big bang to thank for that. You'll then ask who created the big bang. Well we don't know but the simplest answer is "it was always there." And the simplest answer is usually the correct one.

Ah, I was talking to my mate about thi earlier tonight...

I remember watching this video (YouTube) where this guy tried to prove the existence of god by saying that time wasn't infinite, therefor matter wasn't nor space, thus something had to not only start it, but by impossibly powerful...

Well, that is countered by the "Bug Crunch" theory, whereby the universe is constantly expanding, but once it reaches its limit, it starts contracting, and when it finishes contracting, the "universe" goes back into the state it was beofre the "Big Bang" the the "Big Bang" happens again, the universe is in an infinitie loop...

To use Emperor's words... just think about that... the idea that we are tiny organisms in an infinite universal loop that has neither a begining nor an end, and thus, no need for a catalyst... it blows your mind... for a split second it's what I imagine being on drugs is like...

I love philosophy and theoretical physics...

Proteins likely didn't combine togeather 'by accident', the likelyhood of that happening is negliable. Fred Hoyde compares it to solving a rubics cube by moving sections at random.

There are different theories concerning this, and since we can't reverse time and the fossil record doesn't go back that far we can never be sure which theory is correct. One I've heard that seems quite plasible is that it started with molecules simply creating bonds with each other in the primordial soup in the way a crystal does, but with a random combination of elements. Unlike a crystal however, the structure breaks apart after forming thus making it a replicator. The struture essentially acts as a mold for identical structures. Over time the struture mold is changed randomly and individual repliticators have to compete with each other for free-floating elements, making the structures with the best suited mold more likely to survive. Ta Da, natural selection. Whether these molecules can really be consider 'life' is up for question, but it is easy to see how they can evolve into life afterwards.

    Image version

    First structure:
    a
    b
    c
    d

A attracts and bonds with other a's, ect ect.

    a+a
    b+b
    c+c
    d+d

A crystral would continue to build up like this to make a huge solid object, like:

    a+a+a+a+a+a+a+a
    b+b+b+b+b+b+b+b
    c+c+c+c+c+c+c+c
    d+d+d+d+d+d+d+d

But what this special structure would do is that it would break up after bonding:

    a+a
    b+b
    c+c
    d+d

    =
    a.....a
    b.....b
    c.....c
    d.....d

and both would continue to go on replicating.
    1) The creation of the world is the most marvelous achievement imaginable.
    2) The merit of an achievement is the product of (a) its intrinsic quality, and (b) the ability of its creator.
    3) The greater the disability (or handicap) of the creator, the more impressive the achievement.
    4) The most formidable handicap for a creator would be non-existence.
    5) Therefore if we suppose that the universe is the product of an existent creator we can conceive a greater being — namely, one who created everything while not existing.
    6) Therefore, God does not exist.

Your key words are "Magical World". You see...to you its a "Magical World" and thats as far as you take it. Too most of us Aethiests we look on the world as an interesting wonderful place that we want to understand through science and understanding. We seek science and real understanding, you are just mesmerized by the pretty lights!

This thread reminds me of high school religion class. I'll get an A as long as I just put 'God' for each answer.

    No...

You believe that, and it is your unquestioning belief that that is correc that is your undoing, society only advances through forward thinking, if everyone thought like you we would be stuck back in the Middle Ages...

You know, the reason why I'm an Atheist is because I've thought hard about these questions for a long time and concluded that

christianity and its teachings answer none of them.

I've accepted the fact that no one knows the answers and no one ever will. Christianity, as well as many other religions, arose as a means to answer these questions. I do not need an answer. I don't need religion. I don't need God.

Also, what's magic got to do with anything?
