again SORRY just felt a bit pissy earlier and i heard a creationist say the bible had to be true because 50 or so authors agreed on god and modern scientists all disagree with each other

but you seem fairly stable and not so preachy for a true believer, so
I feel compelled to ask, and I am not atheist, but very few atheists are gung ho preachers,

the majority stick to themselves on the religion issue for fear of reprisals

and I don't usually agree with statement's like Ferret's but creationists, not ID, creationists, probably could use a kick in the right direction (left in this case)

It's probably not very mature to mock an interpretation that differs from your own. Data never speaks for itself in entirety and is always to a large extent interpretation.

Most people believe in evolution because they go along with the crowd or do not wish to accept the alternative. It is true that creationists may also fall into the latter failing. Both attitudes are of course not scientific.

Personally, looking at the solid evidence, it would seem to me to contradict the basic tenets of evolutionary theory and support the basic teachings of creationism.

But then I wonder if science can ever really prove anything that is not transparent and present. There are often just too many factors to claim certainty.
