    Default Slave faction question

I am wondering if, by giving the 'slave' faction named characters and families...as in what appears to be man and wife.....does this then entice the slave faction to recruit units and behave like a 'normal' faction in most ways. Do they aquire new 'named characters', or does this gradually change as the starting characters die off? Then they no longer recruit units?

By giving slave faction name character mostly I believe is because the need to give traits (like immobile etc). Mostly to prevent slave units leaving settlement to attack from AI or player easier.

That is indeed a good question.

I am not sure that the slave faction recruits units in a "conventional" way. In fact, I have not noticed their starting armies in settlements increase. I think that they get new characters (and units) when armies are spawned in the countryside and when revolts take place in the cities. But they do not appear to develop a family tree (or descendants) and the new character's names seem to be randomly picked from the other factions' names list, as the list of names available for the slave faction is rather short and useless, if I may add.

I am afraid I have not been very helpful
