LMFAO I cannot beleive this happened. I pressed the slow down button making the game pause just as a cinematic of an enemy general being killed apeared. Result: I was stuck in that frozen cinematic and had to restart! Arg it was an awesome battle too lol.

Any way to get rid of that stupid cinematic, I absolutely hate being locked into it in the heat of battle when I could be focusing on something more important like directing my troops. (I had it on 6x once when that happened and my army routed )

I'd show a screenie but I have no idea where that folder is.

I know that it is possible,i know in RTW in some mod,the cinematic wouldnt show up(when a general died).PM a modder or something.

ok i think i can help you you have to edit your file which is from medieval 2 total war folder
so download this file and simply replace or over right this in your C:program files/sega/Medieval 2 total war folder
(this one happend to me before but KK helped me )

this has happened to me a few times. what I've done is just press like... every key on my keyboard at the same time until something happens. I'll always come out of the freeze and continue as normal

But I guess if you want a more practical solution you should go with Chola_Kingdom's

Can't you just press "P" to unpause?

I just pressed again the control+t bottons and the screen froze away and the animation continued. Or just press p

Oh really? dang lol. I thought the game was frozen indeffintely. Ah well. I'll remember that thanks.
