Where do I edit technology times & growth levels?
So there won't be any Baktria overhaul? Since the team is doing the Mauyran Empire...
Dang, I thought with CAC having the Seleucids an elite melee cav unit I'd assume there was a historical basis that the Seleucids would be grateful in DeI. I wonder what is the justification.
Yes :D, I always thought Seleucid cavalry rooster was boring, they should have at least one elite melee cavalry unit IMO.
Sorry but this is untrue, the Diadochi had professional armies (beginning...
Yeah I don't think I understand this.
*sigh* why did CA just do this, just wanted for my own personal tweaking :(.
Is there an exact appropriate place or is it somewhat guesswork?
EDIT: I think I do not know what I am doing.
Done that, still doesn't work for me. I just copy pasted the table in or do I have to do more?
I think there won't be a Belisarius DLC on a small scale but probably a grand campaign re-vamp ala Imperator Augustus for Rome 2 (hopefully an extra province in Gaul, Greece and Egypt at least and...
At this point they should create a "Super" Historical Total War and have the entire world represented with thousands of settlements, faction types and politics and sell multiple eras (I can think at...
Unknown7, the unknown8 edits research cost like the religious ones for the Romans.
Yeah, giving the Goths especially Roman buildings if they can do so as they wanted to be "Roman", especially the Ostrogothic kingdom was Romanized.
How do you change research times? I changed research points in 3.5.0 but didn't affect the main game. Is there something wrong and if so do I have to start another campaign to see the effects?
...
Not sure, probably between 7 or 8 (closer to 8 ATM for me, making it "great").
One request; can you remove the negative effect of researching the religious technologies for the Romans? That just seems stupid and catering to Fedora-wearing atheist neck-beards. I don't know the...
Tried; still has Athenian rooster.
For Baktria you could include Indo-Greek elite units and some Indian units. For the Seleucid rooster you could look for DeI, that's got a nice rooster aside the non-existent elite melee cavalry...
Just noticed; Syracuse in HatG has Athens' rooster.
Maybe not "bugs" but:
1. Pontus in IA cannot recurit all their units such as their heavy archers or cavalry as their buildings do not offer it. Syracuse also can't recruit Sicilian heavy peltasts...
Yeah into the 16th century... and then you'd get most of the cavalry turning into harqebuisers (firearm cavalry wrecked traditional lance-based cavalry) with being semi-armored (or only armored in...
I dunno, units getting less armored (or heavier but less covered) on and on (1400s to late 1600s) would feel too weird for me. I think an early modern era game from early 1600s to late 1700s would be...
I think with the tools CA has already created in-house they can created landmasses with ease (I don't think they would have done CiG and HatG quickly), sure creating assets is different but using the...
Just a curious question about the campaign map editing that will be offered; I know we cannot move settlements but can we change the type such as making a minor city of two slots (I think that's what...
I think the big problem overall is that CA chose 3 province system instead of 2-4 system of Rome. I still think they could have 2 provinces in Greece along with an extra in Gaul (to represent Paris...
I think the problem is that Greece in Attila is presented barren when it was pretty urbanized and did IIRC provide manpower for the Medieval Romans when they didn't have much of Anatolia. I think few...
Thanks Joey, though if CA would offer a crowd-sourcing option for some developers to be dedicated for landmass editing I would suck my pride and contribute :p. Regardless I understand complications...
While the lack of Campaign map landmass/province modding is disappointing (though I really understand CA's issue with trying to create such tools, *hint* though if there was a crowdsourcing option...
While I think CA is doing good effort with these tools IMO, I am not sure even a Rise of Rome would turn out well (or a Medieval mod, lack of Paris or Cairo for instance). Attila doesn't have...
Oh yeah I forgot that and I haven't tried this mod yet and I don't have internet at my home until next Thursday (been down since last Thursday). Though wondering one thing KAM, would it ever be...
I like the idea of shield defense overall going down but does this affect the likes of Hoplon shields? Those were very tough and very sturdy shields while shields covering a larger surface area like...
While true... I think people want Warhammer TW for battles and not grand campaign strategy which I am unsure if they'll be enough fight-able factions that'll either be steam-rolled by some players or...
Honestly if it was up to me I would approach Historical Total War next time by having a super-huge, global-spanning grand campaign map (don't think GC Rome 2 expanded, think Caesar in Gaul or Wrath...
Seems you were working off something different from KAM, he changed the Nakhrar Thorakiti's armor stat to 80 from 70 in his battle balance patch.
So did 'Gunny weaken the Narkhrar thorkitai armor? KAM's battle patch had them at 80 armor yet in 1.02 they have 70 armor. Was this a mistake and if not why? Doesn't make sense for them to be less...
Did KAM's uploaded file get implemented in 1.02?
I kind of agree with Andarius, being aggressive and the AI as well in this mod ends up with a few factions controlling the entire world by the 230s. Though the root of that problem is the fact the GC...
Thanks KAM :D but i'll wait for the next patch as a complete package. You and the team have done awesome work, the only thing I would ever want out of this mod would be CA releasing map editing tools...
Minor nitpick, the Thorakitai Nakhrar's (spelling issues but whatever) armor stats is lower than the Seleucid Royal Swordsman despite being visually more armored than them. Would it be possible to up...
Issue: Pontus in IA campaign does not have any religious buildings.
Pontus in IA campaign doesn't have any religious buildings.
Just noticed, have the unit sizes been decreased intentionally?
