    The Sarabandes series (short story)

Part (the start, up to a point) of a short story I wrote in English. Feedback would be cool.

Re: COVID-19: A bloody battle or a long war?

I think the angle is about hospitals not being able to deal with even 1% of the population being sick and sent there at the same time. Also, obviously other people are sick, without the coronavirus....

    Re: Macedonia Naming Dispute: Solved?

This needs a new thread, instead of reviving one from October which was about the name, not Nato.
  6. Poll: Re: Upcoming Cleopatra film, who should play her dad: Zach Galifianakis or John Stamos?

Galifianakis is a satyr, and while satyroi did often play the aulos, I don't think he would be close to the ptolemies - he seems to be more the phocid type, into melting all the silver at Delphi to...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak - From China to the World.

I saw the theory that Covid is actually a partial camouflaging of "Corvid", as in Corvidae. So if that is so, Covid 19 may just be 19 crows :)

Re: COVID-19: A bloody battle or a long war?

Re Germany, it may be that the surprisingly low death rate is actually a result of not testing when people die. One would need to see if there is a spike in actual overall deaths, which doesn't get...

Not gonna lie. The above (ie what you say they did) sounds like a terribly bad idea... ^_^ (to me, that is)

Re: COVID-19: A bloody battle or a long war?

Re: COVID-19: A bloody battle or a long war?

    Thanks!

I will try to finish it - despite having a specific idea as to what is going on, I am not sure this can be a very short story.
  21. Re: Turkey opens its borders for refugees to go to Europe.

It would be cool if, at least for the time being, Turkey could focus on the coronavirus instead of some mad plan to bring others down.
But this being Turkey, I even doubt that will happen /facepalm

Noooooooo! A serious actor would be needed for a movie to become known, and no such actor would wish to portray an ahistorical Tiberius fighting a Cyclops.

  27. Re: Do we really need hospitals in the US? Welfare queens! I say let em crash.

I've been saying for years that hospitals are a huge scheme involving aliens who devour part of the sick - cause to them human sickness is like a sauce.
    Burn them all, I say.
